We are husband and wife, mom and dad to our little boy Elliott and our fur kiddos Willy and Wolfie. In our (seldom) free time we like to hike, watch star wars together and go camping. We're in the stage of life where our ideal Friday night includes a chick fil a date, a stroll around the neighborhood with good conversation, and an early night in to watch some tv before bed.
Our favorite wedding days are filled with good people having a good time, doing their thing, and of course, getting married. I had a bride ask me when I arrived to her parent's house, where she was getting ready, 'so what should we do for photos before we leave for the church?' I simply replied, 'well you should probably get dressed before we leave, but other than than, there's nothing we have to do.' We're not the the type of photographers to give you prompt after prompt, or have a huge photo list of what we need to capture. We're the type of photographers who do our best work when the moments are simply allowed to happen naturally and organically, like they would if we weren't even there.
We want you to spend your money where you want to- not where you feel like you have to. We often photograph weddings where the girls are doing their own hair and makeup, where the couple is getting ready in their home, where they make their own flower bouquets or use fake flowers. The list goes on. and on. Your wedding doesn't have to feel like a production, rather it should feel like you. And your photos should feel like you too. That's where we come in.
